Historic Buildings in Stoke-on-Trent - 6
The early development of Stoke-on-Trent as six individual towns resulted in each town having their civic centres, parks, key buildings, and other associated landmarks such as cemeteries.
And each cemetery had its own chapel building - and this is Hanley Cemetery chapel - for more info, check out this - http://www.thepotteries.org/listed/49a.html And the architect of this building also designed a number of other beautiful buildings in Stoke-on-Trent, including Stoke Town Hall - http://www.thepotteries.org/listed/130a.html
The great sin with this chapel, and the chapels in the other five town cemeteries, is that every one is derelict, and haven't been used for many years, apart from being a subject for local vandals.
